Our History
OM Stone has been in business since 1947, when WWII veteran Gordon Bronleewe purchased the company and called it Oregon Memorials. Initially, Gordon concentrated on selling cemetery memorials, but over the years the business grew and transformed.
By 1985, the company had branched out into residential and commercial stone work. In the late 1980s, OM Stone ventured into public art. Some of notable projects include the Portland Central Library Steps, the California Museum of Science and Industry, and the IRS building in Washington, D.C.
Today, our programs utilize state-of-the-art technology for design and cutting, with six full-time staff on board. We offer complete service from first steps through installation and operate strictly on a wholesale basis.
Our Leadership and Team
OM Stone is based in Oregon and our in-house team handles all the phases of a project instead of contracting to other vendors.
